Experience building and bonding with buddies!
Speech in Focus offers a unique approach to developing social communication skills for school-age students. Tools for Talk is an evidence-based program combining social cognition and communication and it is designed and delivered by the Speech in Focus, Speech Pathology Services certified practising speech pathologists.
Our focus will be for students to enjoy building and creating, whilst using their social communication tools to meet new people, have conversations, share their thoughts, and listen to others. Students will enjoy communicating whilst having a great time constructing models and using their imagination.
Students will enjoy learning as a group with other students of similar ages and interests, as well as having small individual projects. It is a refreshing and engaging way to develop and strengthen skills.
NDIS funding may be used to pay for the entire program.
