Evett

Director and Principal Speech Pathologist

Evett is our Co-Director and has extensive experience in Speech Pathology. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Dysphagia from La Trobe University. Evett provides external clinical supervision to speech pathologists, supporting their professional growth and development. She also speaks Lebanese.

Evett is certified in Hanen’s ‘It Takes Two to Talk’ and ‘More Than Words’, LEGO ® Serious Play ® Method Facilitator. She is also trained in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and Social Stories ™.

Her areas of interest and experience include intellectual and developmental disabilities, language and learning difficulties, speech sound disorders, social communication, autism spectrum disorder, feeding and swallowing difficulties, as well as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Evett has worked across various settings, including education, disability services, aged care, supported accommodation, community health, hospitals, and private practice.

Evett has a passion for her rescue dogs and caring for her flock of chickens.

George

Director / Practice Manager

George Lattouf serves as the Co-Director and Practice Manager at Speech in Focus, Speech Pathology Services. With a Cert IV in Business (Small Business Management) and a background in Electronics and Telecommunications, George is instrumental in managing the practice’s business systems, technology infrastructure, and operations. His responsibilities include overseeing financial management, facilities, and the Internet of Things, ensuring seamless day-to-day functionality across all areas of the practice.

Before taking on his current role, George worked at a prestigious senior high school in Sydney, where he developed valuable expertise in supporting digital media technologies for students, staff, and the broader community. He also brings 16 years of experience from the telecommunications industry, further solidifying his technical and managerial capabilities.

Fluent in both English and Lebanese, George thrives in a multicultural environment. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling and traveling, continuously seeking new adventures and experiences.

Natalie

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Natalie completed her studies at the University of Sydney, with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology). She has experience in assessing and treating paediatric and adult clients through working in the public hospital, community health and private practice settings.

Natalie is certified in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Story Champs®, Social Stories ™, professional and clinical supervision and has an interest in adult dysphagia, paediatric feeding and Orofacial Myology. She is committed to supporting and empowering children and adults to communicate and swallow successfully. Natalie is driven to achieve functional and meaningful outcomes that have long lasting impacts. She values the importance of collaborating with a client’s family, other health professionals and educators to ensure goals are individualised and functional. Natalie also speaks Greek.

Natalie enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and listening to podcasts.

Radah

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Radah holds an undergraduate degree in Speech, Hearing, and Language Sciences, as well as a Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology, both from Macquarie University.

She has completed training in Hanen – More Than Words, Story Champs®, Social Stories ™ and has developed special interests in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), neurodivergent informed practice, trauma informed practice and empowering parents using communication partner coaching.

She is passionate about collaborating with the client’s, families, other practitioners and educators to achieve functional, to achieve meaningful, functional outcomes.

In her spare time, Radah enjoys playing board games with her friends and family, listening to podcasts and attending concerts.

Sara

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Sara completed her studies at the University of Newcastle, receiving first-class honours with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). Since then, she has gained experience working within various clinical areas. She has developed a special interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), family-centred practice, and early language and literacy skill development.

Sara supports children through crucial stages of their communication development. She focuses on providing compassionate and individualised care to help each child and their family thrive and achieve their full potential. She has completed training in Hanen – More Than Words, Sounds-Write, Social Stories ™, and Positive Behaviour Support.

Outside of work, Sara loves travelling and going on weekend road trips.

KC

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

KC holds an undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology, as well as a Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology, at University of Sydney and University of the Philippines. She has experience in assessing and treating paediatric and adult clients through working in the community health and private practice settings. KC has developed a special interest in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), adult dysphagia, paediatric feeding and neurodiversity-affirming practice.  

KC is passionate about supporting children and adults to communicate and swallow effectively. She values the importance of focusing on each person’s unique strengths and working closely with the clients, families, and other professionals to provide individualised, functional support. KC also speaks Tagalog.

KC enjoys travelling, going to the gym and playing badminton.


Mariam

Occupational Therapist

Mariam is a passionate and caring Occupational Therapist who loves supporting children and their families to reach their full potential. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Health Services Management and Recreational Therapy, as well as a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, which has enabled her to work across aged care and mental health settings, supporting individuals of all ages and diverse abilities.

Her deep interest in client-centred care inspired her to complete a second undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy, allowing her to broaden her impact and work in both hospital and private practice settings.

Mariam is dedicated to helping people of all ages and abilities achieve their goals. She values tailored communication and support, and approaches her work with empathy, collaboration, and a strong commitment to family-centred care. She always adapts her therapy to meet each child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.

Mariam has a special interest in sensory integration, motor skill development, toileting, feeding sensitivities, life skills, and assistive technology. She has also expanded her knowledge in interoception and alexithymia.

Her sessions are designed to be fun, meaningful, and engaging—helping children feel confident, capable, and understood. She believes in the power of play and connection to make therapy effective and enjoyable.

In her spare time, Mariam enjoys exercising and discovering new desserts to enjoy, and loves spending time with her family and friends.

Evangeline

Client Care and Social Media Officer

Evangeline supports the client care team and is responsible for our content creation on social media.

Overall, Evangeline’s role requires a balance of interpersonal skills, creativity in content creation, and strategic thinking to effectively promote Speech in Focus and engage with its audience both offline and online.
